Racquel Maccagno

Racquel brings to Hello Smooth about 18 years of experience working in healthcare.  She has worked 10 of those years as a certified nurse practitioner, 4 of which have been in the aesthetic field.  Along with her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Tampa, she also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. 

Since being in the Aesthetic space, Racquel has trained with notable US-based aesthetic providers and academies such as Dr. Kay Durairaj; The Academy for Injection Anatomy with Dr. Chris Surek; Sonosthetics with Dr. Steve Weiner; and Lori Robertson, APRN. She has also completed trainings with well-known international trainers and academies such as The Swiss Aesthetic Institute with Julie Horne, RN and Derma Medical with Drs Zack Ally, Amrit Thiara and Matt Pywell.  

The field of aesthetics is dynamic and so there continues to be new demands, tools, emerging trends and so forth.  Because of this, Racquel considers trainings and continuing education an absolute must.  To goal is to fine-tune the fundamentals as well as to stay abreast of the latest, most effective, and safest techniques to deliver the very best aesthetic outcomes to our patients. 

When she is not working, Racquel absolutely enjoys cooking, baking and travelling.
