The Benefits of Cocoa Butter

We celebrate beauty every day. Whether it is smiling when we see a beautiful sunrise in the morning, or just that satisfaction of looking in the mirror and realizing it is going to be a good hair day. With that in mind, we’re going to shine a light on one of the best and most natural anti-aging tools that humans have been using for millennia with great success: cocoa butter.

Cocoa butter is a commonly found ingredient in a wide variety of creams, lotions, balms and salves. History has shown evidence that people have been using the healing powers of cocoa in these and many other ways and in various forms for thousands of years. Pregnant women use cocoa butter to fight stretch marks during and after pregnancy. Cocoa butter has also been shown to diminish scars as well, making this a solid one-two punch against unsightly skin markings.
