September is just around the corner and the typical end of Summer blues are starting to hit.  School is back, the days are getting shorter and the memories of the fun we had in the sun (while sometimes hazy) are lingering.  Labor Day weekend is a great last hurrah for summers each year, and this year your sisters in skin care secrets over here at Hello Smooth want to share a super smoothie recipe for you to share with your crew.  It tastes delicious AND it’s full of great ingredients for your skin health!

Here’s the list of what you’ll need:

½ cup of avocado

two sliced bananas, frozen

½ cup of coconut water

1 cup of mango, chopped (or strawberries)

1 cup of pineapple, chopped (or blueberries)

2 cups of spinach (or kale, if that’s more your taste)

A blender

Alright, let’s do this!  Take the ingredients, place them in your blender, and blend it up until it’s smooth.  The coconut water is excellent for hydration, the avocado will give you a big boost of healthy fats, protein and a great dose of fiber.  The fruits are full of Vitamin C and are naturally sweet, so no need to add extra sugar!  This is a calorie smart, skin healthy beverage that is actually enough to replace a meal if you are really kicking in the post summer diet!
